Chukwueze Signs Up With Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports

Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze has signed up to have his career managed by Jay-Z’s management firm, Roc Nation Sports, Completesports.com reports.

The American sports management firm will manage the affairs of the 20 – year – old winger henceforth.

Roc Nations Sports, the sports management division of Roc Nation was founded by American hip-hop legend Jay Z in 2013.

“A ground-breaking new partner along with one of Africa’s brightest young football stars. We’re thrilled to welcome #10Manage & @chukwueze_8 to the ?? family! #RocFam,” Roc Nation Sport tweeted on their official Twitter handle on Thursday.

Chukwueze also tweeted: “Excited to announce that with @10manage, we are joining the @rocnationsports family! Big things coming?? #RocFam.”

Chukwueze had a breakthrough season with Spanish La Liga outfit, Villarreal last season.

The former Nigeria youth international scored five goals in 26 LaLiga appearances for the Yellow Submarines.

He turned down the chance to represent Nigeria at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland in May, opting to feature for the senior side at the 32nd Africa Cup of Nations finals in Egypt instead.

The 20-year-old scored one goal for the Super Eagles enroute to their bronze medal win in the competition.
