Christopher Nkunku eyes RB Leipzig stay as future rests beyond his control

Christopher Nkunku says he would like to remain at RB Leipzig, although he accepts that his future will not be decided by him alone.

The forward, whose registration is held by Milan, joined the German club on loan in the summer of 2026. “Everything does not depend only on me,” Nkunku said.

RB Leipzig have the option to make the move permanent by paying €28m for the France international.

Nkunku has scored four goals and provided two assists in eight appearances in all competitions this season.
