Atsu, 23, has endured a difficult spell on the bench despite his impressive performance for Ghana at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Former Ghana international Joe Addo lashed out at the player for the poor decision to sign for the Toffees claiming he deserves a spot in the team.

But the player’s local representative, Abdul Hayye Yartey wants the former Porto man to stay put at Goodison Park.

” Atsu is not too much worried and he believes his time will come. He believes he’ll make it big in England. He said the same thing to me when he was in Rio Ave, Porto and Vitese. He (Atsu) said, Chariman I’ll make it” Yartey told Footballmadeinghana

“He shouldn’t ran away from the challenge, he should stay in the Premier League and he’ll get a club that will respect him and respect his ability. For me he’s a Chelsea player and they will decide his next move when his loan deal ends.

Atsu was voted the best player at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations but has surprisingly not caught the attention of manager Roberto Martinez.
