Christantus Uche may yet return to Getafe with new information emerging about the terms of his recent move, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Contrary to expectations of a permanent transfer, the Nigerian striker joined the London club on a loan deal that carries an option to buy. This clause will become an obligation if certain conditions are fulfilled before the winter transfer window, at which point Uche would officially become the property of the English side.

Ceuta, which owns 12.5% of the player’s rights, an amount estimated at over €2 million, is waiting to see whether the clause is triggered as it prepares its own transfer strategy for January.

Getafe, on the other hand, would stand to receive around €19 million should the move become permanent.

Ceuta president Luhay Hamido outlined the details of the agreement during an interview on Club Deportivo (Radio Televisión Ceuta).

"Uche's money has not yet arrived; he has to play ten games as a starter for the purchase to count, if not, he returns to Getafe again.

If he plays those ten games, the loan with the right to buy is mandatory, and the corresponding percentage would be counted in chapter one of the salary cap. If it is before the winter market, we could use him."

The financial implications of the deal are significant for both Ceuta and Getafe.
