Chisom Egbuchulam goals steer Swedish club Falkenbergs FF closer to promotion

Superettan club Falkenbergs FF are now just a point away from promotion to the Swedish top flight with two rounds of matches to be played and it is mainly down to the goals of Chisom Egbuchulam.

Falkenbergs are second on the table with 58 points from 28 matches, just two points behind leaders Helsingborg.

Should both teams maintain their positions, they will automatically be promoted to the top league.

Falkenbergs last played in the top division in 2016 after they had flirted with relegation in 2014 and 2015

And modest Falkenbergs will owe their elevation to former Enugu Rangers left winger Egbuchulam, who has netted 13 goals in the league.

He is only a goal shy of the leading scorer in the league – Andri Bjarnason of Helsingborg.

It has been a complete turnaround for Egbuchulam, who was not given a permanent deal by Swedish top league side BK Hacken last year after he struggled to make his mark during a season-long loan.
