This morning Tuttosport reports the word of Federico Chiesa who spoke to Mauro Berruto about some difficulties he faced growing up.
He says he had a tough time keeping up with his teammates in the Fiorentina youth academy, “I saw my teammates growing physically and technically, improving and playing every Sunday, while I was struggling to keep up with the pace and had to move backwards a year in order to play a few minutes. It was so hard that I thought about quitting”.
“With a little determination and help of my Parents and a coach who made me grow as a person, I began to consider daily training as my match, my personal challenge and I managed to overcome it”
He also says “I think you also have to be good at building your own luck”.
Chiesa has been a shining light for Juventus this season demonstrating the attitude all Juventus fans and coaches alike would want to see from the team.
