The Nigerian international, who was recently recalled to the national team, was injured in Sevilla’s defeat to Barcelona on Sunday.
His injury comes as a blow after his fine form in recent times which has seen him garner the most dribbles completed in Europe’s top 5 leagues this season.
He emerged as Sevilla's best player for September.
