The Eagles suffered a 1-0 defeat to defending champions Senegal in their opening fixture and will face Sudan at the Amman Stadium in Zanzibar on Tuesday.

Chelle acknowledged the importance of the game, stating that his team will fight for maximum points to avoid an early exit from the tournament.

A positive result against Sudan is crucial for Nigeria's chances of progressing to the next stage.

"We just want to win this game, our project remains playing with intensity and aggression, and I know it would be difficult for us physically until the last moment. To stay ambitious, we need to win this game against Sudan." Said the Malian tactician.
