Celta Vigo Hand New Deal To Former Nigeria U20 Invitee Emmanuel Apeh

Emmanuel Apeh has been handed a one year extension by Laliga side Celta Vigo following the expiration of his one year deal with the club at the end of last season, Owngoalnigeria.com reports

Apeh joined the team from fellow Spanish side Lorca on a free transfer starting off with the B team from where he made the step up to the first team and played 12 minutes in Laliga games against Real Valladolid and Real Betis. He was also an unused substitute in the games against Sevilla, Alaves and SD Eibar.

However it was his performance for the B team that earned him an extension with the club as he scored seven goals in 22 games with two more goals coming in the end of season Promocion de Permanencia bringing his season total to nine goals.

22 year old Apeh has been in Spain since 2016 where he turned out to RSD Alcala, Lorca B and the first team of Lorca and his has now been extended to the summer of 2020 although he is still going to remain with the B team of Celta Vigo, who are now in the 3rd division in Spain.
