Ndidi: Leicester Will Fight To Get Something Vs Chelsea At Stamford Bridge

Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi says The Foxes must be at their best to beat Chelsea in Sunday’s Premier League fixture at the Stamford Bridge, reports Completesports.com.

The Blues who are under new manager, Frank Lampard fell to an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Manchester United in their opening fixture of the season last weekend and also recorded another loss to Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup clash in the midweek.

However, despite the two defeats, Ndidi insists Leicester City need to be wary of their opponent who will be desperate to get their first win of the campaign.

“Despite the fact that they’ve lost two games, it will be a difficult game and we will have to be alert. We got a point against Wolves, but we can be better going into the Chelsea game. We’ll go there to try and get something out of it,” Ndidi told Leicester City official website.

“Every game we learn, and we take to the next game. For Wolves, they’re a very good team. We actually kept the ball in possession and that’s difficult against Wolves.

“Playing like that, it gives us more confidence to go forward. They have a good record away from home and I think we did well defensively. We have to try and create more chances now.”

Leicester City who started their campaign with a 0-0 home draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers last Sunday defeated Chelsea 1-0 at the Stamford Bridge last season.
