Bayern Munich are preparing for difficult negotiations with Michael Olise over a contract extension, with the club ready to offer the France international a significant pay rise.

However, Olise is also asking for a release clause to be included in the new agreement, according to AS, citing Sport Bild.

The 24-year-old’s situation is being closely monitored by Real Madrid and Liverpool. Both clubs would be prepared to explore the possibility of signing Olise should an opportunity arise in the transfer market.

Olise has made 114 official appearances for Bayern Munich since joining the club. He has scored 50 goals and provided 58 assists for the German side.

UK Culture, Media and Sport Secretary Lisa Nandy has said Manchester City could be removed from the Premier League after the club was found guilty of breaching financial regulations.

An independent Premier League commission previously ruled against Manchester City on every charge relating to serious financial rule violations alleged to have taken place between 2009 and 2018.

Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa has been charged by the Football Association with improper conduct after criticising the officials following his side’s match against Manchester United.

The FA said Arbeloa must respond to the charge by 1 October.

Arsenal midfielder Martin Zubimendi wants to leave the club and join Real Madrid, according to El Nacional.

The 27-year-old Spain international has reportedly asked his agents to accelerate a move to Madrid. Arsenal have already made their demands to Real Madrid, and the transfer will go ahead if those conditions are met.
