Cagliari have announced that the Rossoblu forward Leonardo Pavoletti underwent surgery for the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee. The operation was performed last night in the Hochum clinic in Innsbruck by Professor Christian Fink.

The player will now be observed over a few days at the hospital and the rehabilitation process has been established with a prognosis of about six months, starting from next week
