"Touchdown in Morocco! We have safely landed and received a warm welcome from our hosts. We're ready, focused, and excited for the journey ahead!", the club's post read accompanied by images of their arrival.

Edo Queens made history by qualifying for the CAF Women's Champions League in their inaugural attempt. The Nigerian side secured their spot by clinching the WAFU B qualifiers earlier this year. Their impressive journey culminated in a resounding 3-0 victory over Ainonvi FC du Benin in the final, held in Bouaké, Côte d'Ivoire.

This qualification marks a significant milestone, making Edo Queens the third Nigerian team to participate in the prestigious tournament. They join Rivers Angels (2021) and Bayelsa Queens (2022) as Nigerian representatives in the CAF Women's Champions League.

As the WAFU B champions, Edo Queens carry the hopes of Nigeria in the upcoming tournament, scheduled to take place in Morocco from November 9th to 23rd. They are poised to make their mark on the continental stage and represent Nigeria with pride.
