Following his goal in the first leg of the CAF Champions League against ES Tunis, Plateau United Ibrahim Mustapha Yuga has declared will score in the second leg.
Mustapha's goal at the stroke of half time was all the Jos boys needed to go into the second leg at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
His team now with that slim win have their work cut out as they go to Tunisia, but the attacker says them can overcome if they score more goals.
“It is going to be a difficult match in Tunis but we are equal to the task. We did our best in the first leg but we couldn’t score more goals because luck didn’t smile on us.
“The return leg offers us the opportunity to make amends and put smiles on the faces of our teeming fans. Our target is to reach the group stage for the first time.
“To achieve this, we must score goals in Tunisia so I want to keep scoring. By the grace of God, I will score at least a goal in the return leg. We all have resolved to play as a team and I am sure we would triumph in the end,” he said.
The two teams square for a final fight to settle who qualifies to the group stage of the CAF champions league ok Saturday at the Stade de Olympique de Rades, Tunisia.
