Esperance Sportive du Tunis have been given a huge injury boost before they battle Nigeria's representative Plateau United.
The medical department of Esperance has confirmed the full recovery of the midfielder, Mohammed Ali Ben Romdhane and he will likely be available to face Nigeria Professional Football League first runner up, Plateau United.
The Tunisia international has been out of action since August and had to undergo surgery on August 25th to correct his injured knee.
He was dropped from the team for the first leg played in Nigeria last weekend after the team coach Nabil Malooul found out that he's yet to be fully fit.
As the team intensify their readiness for the game the medics on Thursday announced that Romdhane is fit enough to play the crucial game for Esperance.
Plateau United defeated Esperance 2-1 in the first leg of the Second Round of the Preliminary stage of 2022/23 CAF Champions League at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja. The second leg hold this Saturday at the Olympic Stadium in Rades at 4:00 pm.
