Last operating as an assistant coach for the UAE national team, Dutch 44-year old and former prominent half-back Mark Van Bommel has just been named new Wolfsburg first-team manager. Taking over after Oliver Glasner's successful course, former Bayern Munich, Barcelona FC and AC Milan pitcher, who had trained club of "half a lifetime" of his PSV Eindhoven, back in 2018/19, agreed with Bundesliga giants, on a 2-year deal.
Here's his first, short speech, as "German Wolves" new boss, before being even introduced to fans and media: "I'm really looking forward to be a part of VfL Wolfsburg, and I'm excited about my new environment, the people, and the task that awaits me".
