According to Sport Bild, Borussia Dortmund management are working hard over bringing back German international left-back Marcel Halstenberg, a development-area alumni of the club from 2011 to 2013. A junior for Hannover 96 beforehand, former St. Pauli fender is playing for RB Leipzig since 2015/16, and has been set a 12 million euros transfer fee upon.
To date, Dortmund aren't meeting Leipzig demands, since their bid stands at 8 million euros. Also suitable as a centre-back and as a wide midfielder, Halstenberg, turning 30 on September 27, just partook into Euro 2020 campaign, and is on a deal with Bundesliga giants only a further year long.
