Commenting upon 32-year old winger and Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus leaving German national team training camp on an early departure,
Bayern Munich head of football Hasan Salihamidzic stated, as reported by Sky90: "That's not my thing, but it's surprising that you drive away from the national team and play again two or three days later. It's not even his first time".

Salihamidzic drew a comparison to Bayern dealing with national team weeks, as a follow-up: "Our players stay there and always play. Serge Gnabry had back problems as well, but he stayed put and played. He was also injured on Saturday, and is likely to be out for Barcelona".
