Kicker report this afternoon that Serie A side Torino are the latest club to show interest in signing 23-year-old Croatian winger Josip Brekalo from Wolfsburg.
Brekalo has two years remaining on his current deal but has made it known that he would like to leave the Bundesliga side this summer with Sevilla, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Atalanta & Lazio all monitoring the situation in addition to Torino.
Wolfsburg sporting director Marcel Schäfer has confirmed to Sportbuzzer that Brekalo wants to leave: “The request for a change has been expressed,” but that no club is yet to make an approach.
The Croatian international, according to transfermarkt, currently worth around €12M. And Wolfsburg only willing to let him go on a permanent deal.
