Onyemaechi believes qualification for the biggest football showpiece will not elude Nigeria because of the calibre of player the team boost of.

The left back states that the players are ready to deliver the job and get the qualifications for the tournament scheduled for the USA in an interview with Eaglestracker.

"First of all when I look at the players we have, when I look the qualities individually, I'm always saying we are going to qualify for the World Cup. Whenever you ask I'll say will qualify even after the four games because I know the players we have they will deliver the job."

The Boavista player also discloses the unfortunate departure of the team's Coach, George Finidi as he wishes he continued as the Coach of the Super Eagles.

"Unfortunately, I don't know with our current Coach Finidi. I wish he continued. But now we need to focus on the new games and try to pick up much points as possible." He said.

Nigeria Super Eagles are in a precarious situation after garnering four points in four qualifying matches, leaving them second from bottom and we need something drastic to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
