Hearts of Oak have reached an agreement with coach Herbert Addo to have his contract with the club terminated, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The decision was arrived at during a meeting between management members of Hearts and the experienced coach on Tuesday afternoon.
Addo during that meeting, agreed to a proposal to mutually terminate his contract just under a year of taking over.
Recent poor results of the team led to the board’s resolution to have Herbert Addo immediately replaced.

Hearts' only realistic hope of winning a trophy this season is in the inaugural Elite Cup which is deemed not grand enough to befit the status of the Accra-based giants.
The club’s management headed by Gerald Ankrah was instructed to meet with the coach with the view of reaching an amicable settlement for Addo’s departure.
Addo has agreed in principle to take three months of his monthly wage and walk.
Hearts are to draw up the paper work in the coming hours for the coach to sign to seal the amicable settlement between both parties.
The former Asante Kotoko, Aduana Stars and Inter Allies coach is however not going to be the only change to be made to the expensively assembled technical team at the beginning of the season.
Assistant coach Dauda Lutterodt will also be leaving the club - paving the way for the arrival of Tony Lokko who has already been lined up as a replacement.
