Black Stars trio Jonathan Mensah, Mubarak Wakaso and Fatau Dauda have donated a combined cash of $2,500 to Ashantigold.
Dauda, who plays for the Obuasi-based side made the donation alongside ex-players Jonathan Mensah and Mubarak Wakaso after their side's 2-2 stalemate against Hearts in a delayed Ghana Premier League game on Wednesday.
Mensah, who is currently serving a four-month global ban, contributed $1,ooo while Russia-based Mubarak Wakaso also donated $1,000 with local boy Fatau Dauda parting ways with $500 to the club after watching their pick a point from the Accra sports stadium.
