Despite his impressive form, which saw him emerge as the league's top scorer, Arokodare finished third in the voting poll.

The Genk striker garnered 24.20% of the votes from coaches and fellow players, falling short of the required percentage to claim the top spot.

Club Brugge's Ardon Jashari emerged victorious, securing 32.33% of the votes, while his teammate Hans Vanaken took second place with 27.79%.

Although Arokodare missed out on the Player of the Season award, he was recognized for his outstanding goal-scoring prowess, taking home the Top Scorer award.

Additionally, he received the Ebony Boot, an accolade given to the best African player in the Belgian top league.

Despite the setback, Arokodare's individual accolades serve as a testament to his impressive campaign.
