Belgian Pro League side Westerlo are set to offer a contract to Ghanaian youngster Elvis Acheampong who has excelled on trials. 

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder who is a junior brother of Anderlecht and Black Stars versatile winger Frank Acheampong ended his trial spell at the club last week.

Westerlo boss Harm van Veldhoven is impressed with the abundant talent of Acheampong who is tipped to be bigger than his brother.

Westerlo will officially hand him a long-term contract at the club, according to Football Made in Ghana.

If a deal is reached, he will join Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Mitch Apau at the club.
