Bayelsa United appeal to the IMC to review sanctions

Sequel to the sanction imposed on the club by the Interim Management Committee (IMC) over the alleged assault of an assistant referee, Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) team Bayelsa United have appealed the decision of the IMC. Nigeriasoccernet.com gathers.

The IMC ordered a deduction of three points and three goals from Bayelsa United after one of their supporters attacked the second assistant referee, Ojeleye Ebenezer after the game.
