Reports in Nigeria this week are suggesting that East Midlands rivals Leicester City and Nottingham Forest are both looking into signing talented potential Nigerian international goalkeeper Edward Ogdebor-Onaiwu.

All Nigeria Soccer report in an exclusive that both Leicester and Forest have had the 15-year-old talent on trial with a view to a permanent transfer this summer.

The English born kid joined Charlton Athletic in December 2014 from Crystal Palace but could now be moving on again.

Premier League champions Leicester will be looking to improve their youth ranks whilst Forest must also see him as a potential future first-teamer.

The same report suggests that the schoolboy is ready to represent Nigeria at international level and accept an invitation to join up with the Nigeria under-17s in a training camp in Abuja.

It would certainly be a bold move from the young lad to up sticks from London and head north to Leicester or Forest but perhaps, with the troubles currently at Charlton, it is seen as the best option in the long-term.

Certainly not one to look out for in the immediate short-term, but in the long-term he may prove a good addition to either East Midland club.
