The leading member of the powerful chapter O supporters group is furious with the attempted attack on the incumbent Ghanaian FA leader at the Accra sports stadium on Wednesday.

Nyantakyi suffered massive verbal abuse and near physical attack from irate supporters after watching the side’s 1-0 defeat to Malian side AC Djoliba in the reverse fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The irate supporters are unhappy with the lack of call-ups for their players into the Black Stars and also accused the current FA of working against their progress in the CAF Confederation Cup competition after their late request for a Premier League postponement  against Ashantigold on Wednesday was turned down by the Premier League Board.

Aziz Futah has accused the club’s General Manager Gerald Ankrah for masterminding the act.

"Nobody loves Hearts of Oak more than anybody and let me tell you this, I know the management are listening and I'm telling them that I swear they should be careful", Futah told  Accra-based Asempa FM

"And I have heard Gerard knows about this thing and if he says he's not aware of this attacks he should come out,” he dared him!

"Hearts of Oak is the biggest club in this country and so if Hearts of Oak plays and the GFA president comes to watch and some people who call themselves Hearts of Oak fans come to boo him....are you FOOLS"??, he fumed.

"The wanted to attack him because the GFA failed to grant Hearts of Oak's request of posponing the game against Ashgold and that contributed to the loss against Djoliba".
