Nigeria international Ramon Azeez will be all out to net his third goal of the 2019/20 LaLiga season when his club, Granada ambush Osasuna at the Nuevo Los Carmenes tonight (Friday), Completesports.com reports.
The midfielder has found the back of the net on two occasions this term, one of which was in a 2-0 win against Barcelona, leading to his recall for the Super Eagles’ international friendly match against Brazil.
Should Azeez to score against Osasuna tonight, the 26-year-old would have surpassed his previous record of two goals in a single LaLiga season back in 2013/14 when he made 30 appearances for Almeria.
His record in previous games against Osasuna reads five matches played, two wins, a draw and two losses. Azeez is yet to score or render an assist against tonight’s opponent.
Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has also retained Azeez for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho which will take place in November.
