Austin Osayande dreams of a super six finish after joining Enugu Rangers

Enugu Rangers has completed the signing of attacking midfielder, Austin Osayande from Dakkada FC of Uyo, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The South East team is looking to strengthen team ahead of the resumption of the second phase of the league by the 25th of March.

Osayande was unveiled at the club’s headquarters, G.R.A, Enugu, Rangers’ Administrative Secretary on Monday alongside two other players - Leonard Ugochukwu (Akwa United) and Chinecherem Ugwueze (Giant Brillars F.C of Enugu).

The former Akwa United midfielder said he desires to qualify for the Super Six with his new club.

" I want to say my aim with Rangers is to qualify for the super six and also winning the FA cup with them."

"I'm happy to join Rangers, looking forward to working with the coach, this is the first time we are working together but he's happy to have me too.

My former teammates (Olawale and Emmanuel Charles) have really helped me since I got here, they took me as their own so it's really an exciting move to Rangers International ." He said.

Osayande and the two other players are expected to don the shirt of the Flying Antelopes when they trade tackles with reigning champions, Rivers United in an NPFL rescheduled game on March 15th at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.
