New Asante Kotoko signing Atta Kusi marked his Ghana Premier League debut last Friday in their 1-0 win over Inter Allies at home.
The right-back came on in the 24th minute by replacing Christopher Bonney who suffered a knock.
He impressed throughout the remaining 66 minutes he spent on the pitch and helped to provide Kotoko the defensive agility and contributed to several buildups and attacks from the right-flank.
The former Liberty Professionals man was delighted with output in front of the home fans.
“I think I can be proud of my performance”, Kusi told Kotoko’s official website.
“I have longed to play for Kotoko so having the chance to finally don the red jersey in a competitive match was an experience I will never forget.
“It was a difficult game though but I am happy because I fitted into the team quite well and more so because we won.
“It is a good start for me and I want to build on it to continue to have more playing time.”
