Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has been named in Aston VIlla's 25-man final squad for this season's English Premier League.

The Black Stars striker arrived from French side Lorient in the summer and as he is yet to score, pundits in England claimed he could be excluded from the final squad.
But Coach Tim Sherwood named the son of legend Abedi Pele in his squad.
Sherwood also included Tiago Ilori in his Aston Villa Premier League squad for the season ahead.

The Portugal Under-21 defender has arrived on loan from Liverpool after failing to break into Brendan Rodgers' plans. But he can play for his new club after being registered.
Fellow new boys Veretout and Rudy Gestede also make the cut.
