The Ghana Football Association could bring sanctions against AshantiGold coach Bashir Hayford following his media boycott in AshantiGold's Ghana Premier League stalemate at Inter Allies on Wednesday afternoon.

Hayford walked off journalists who had gathered in waiting for words from the Premier League leaders' coach but he reportedly told them he is not mandated to grant interviews after the game.

Asempa FM journalist Frank Agyam reports 'the coach staged a boycott of the mandatory session and walked out on journalist at the match venue in Tema."

All Premier League coaches and team captains are supposed to grant interviews to the media in the post-match presser but, Hayford told them he is not aware.

The Ghana Football Association's disciplinary wing could prefer charges against the former Ghana U17 coach and could be fined or face other instituted sanctions.
