Asante Kotoko have poured cold water on circling reports that the club’s Life Patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has ordered the board to recall head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.

Last week, Dramani was told to proceed on leave in the midst of the club’s poor run of results in the Ghana Premier League.

According to local media reports, Manhyia Palace held a meeting with the club’s board chairman and it was there he was told to re-instate Dramani.

But the club’s Communications Manager Kwaku Ahenkorah has squashed those reports describe them as untruths.

“There’s absolutely no truth in those reports. Kotoko fans are advised to completely ignore it,” Ahenkorah is quoted by the club’s official website.

“That report is out there; almost everywhere with many of our supporters calling for verification. Our side of the story is that, it is false. The story should be disregarded.”
