Likely to leave Borussia Dortmund after six seasons in, out of German club not deeming him a full-time regular anymore, 30-year old Swiss goalkeeper Roman Bürki has allegedly been targeted by AS Monaco, whose management have recently inquired Alexander Nubel, from the same German football scene.
While Bundesliga giants are screening a bunch of names upon replacing Bürki, including Wojciech Szczesny (Juventus), Bartlomiej Dragowski (Fiorentina), and Pierluigi Gollini (Atalanta), the Helvetic goalie is still on a deal with the club until June 2023, and is allegedly worth 4.5 million euros.
