Arokodare Rescues Point for Wolves in Draw Against Brentford

Tolu Arokodare came off the bench to earn Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. a crucial point in their 2–2 draw against Brentford F.C. in Monday’s Premier League clash, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Brentford started strongly and took the lead in the 22nd minute through Michael Kayode, before Igor Thiago doubled the advantage in the 37th minute.

Wolves responded just before halftime as Adam Armstrong pulled one back in the 44th minute to keep the visitors in contention heading into the break.

The second half saw both sides push for another goal, but it was Wolves who found the breakthrough when Arokodare headed home from close range in the 77th minute to make it 2–2.

The goal was Arokodare’s second of the season after 26 league appearances for Wolves.

Despite the draw, Wolverhampton Wanderers remain bottom of the table with 17 points, while Brentford occupy seventh position with 45 points as the campaign continues.
