Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan triumphed over his Ghanaian compatriot Godfred Donsah on his debut for Bologna as Sassuolo claimed a 1-0 away victory over the Serie A newcovers.

Donsah, who signed a long-term contract for Bologna this week, was handed his debut start by his new club and he lasted 55 minutes at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.

The 2015 Ghana U20 midfielder, 19, gave an impressive account of himself before being replaced in the early stages of the second-half.

He was extremely decisive for Bologna as he made a crucial block to prevent Defrel from scoring the opening goal in the latter stages of the first-half.

Former Udinese midfielder Antonio Floro Flores angled drive home to win the game for Sassuolo in the 86th minute as Bologna crashed to their second straight defeat in the season.

Alfred Duncan who was on the victorious side as he played the entire minutes of the game.
