Mr. Joseph Eno has been appointed Chairman of Akwa United Football Club, with Pastor Ini Edoho as Vice Chairman.
Mr. Jimmy Joshua will serve as General Manager, while Elder Omon Bassey becomes Club Secretary.
Other appointments include Mr. Festus Akpan as Team Manager, and Mr. Mfon Patrick as Media Manager, assisted by Mr. Nsikak Abasi Akpan.
For Ibom Angels Football Club, Prince Ukeme Ukpong takes over as Chairman.
Ukpong is widely recognised for his support of women’s football and grassroots development in Akwa Ibom.
He is also the founder of the Prince Ukeme Ukpong Mega Foundation, which has hosted the Unity Cup for 11 years.
Elder John Udo returns as Secretary, assisted by Mr. Cyril Orok, while Hon. Ndah Ndah is appointed Co-ordinator.
Coach Mary Udobia will act as Team Manager, with Mr. Dennis Thadeus as Welfare Officer.
Mr. Edidiong Stephen is the new Media Manager, assisted by Mr. Ini Akang.
Uduak Freddie takes charge as Camp Commandant of the women’s team.
These appointments mark a fresh era for football leadership in Akwa Ibom State.
