Nigerian international Chima Akas claimed an assist as Belenenses left it late to strike down Santa Clara 2-1 on home soil In the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
Belenenses had led the tie since the first half through Alisson Safira, only for Allano to equalise for the visitors from the penalty spot in the 90th minute.
But Nigerian defender Akas ensured the hosts secured all the three points at stake when he passed for Pedro Nuno to find the net three minutes into stoppage time.
