“The medical staff are trying to ascertain how serious the injury is, it will take another day to do so,” a top team official told SCORENigeria

A crying Daga was forced out of the match just before halftime.

He was replaced by attack-minded Jonathan Nicholas.

Officials said a more ideal replacement for Daga against hosts Egypt Wednesday night would be Caleb Ochedikwu.

The Mavlon FC midfielder has been picked by coach Ladan Bosso as his surprise joker at this U20 AFCON.
