Nigeria Super Eagles Coach, Jose Peseiro has expressed confidence in his team ahead of their African Cup of Nations round of 16 clash against Cameroon, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Portuguese gaffer spoke in the pre match conference in Abidjan ahead of the match which will be played on Saturday.
Peseiro revealed the Indomitable Lions are a very good team with good quality, but he believes in his player's ability to withstand their opponents.
"Our objective is to win the match. Although we know the power of the opponent. The quality of the players, the quality of the coach. We know the emotion they put in the game. We know the team, the opponents, but we believe too much in us."
The make or mar clash between Nigeria and Cameroon will take place at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Saturday by 9pm Nigerian time.
