Amidst the injury crises rocking the boat of the Super Eagles, head coach, Jose Peseiro has guaranteed Nigerians of a fit Kelechi Iheanacho at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Iheanacho has been in the treatment room for close to three weeks, missing the team’s campin and preparation in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
His club-mate and compatriot, Wilfred Ndidi is out of the the competition while Victor Boniface suffered a groin injury thereby retiring from the camp for treatment.
Peseiro however has now revealed that the forward has completed treatment on the injury at his Sky Bet Championship club.
“Kelechi will arrive Cote d’Ivoire. He has finished the treatment at Leicester City,” Peseiro told NFF.
