AFCON 2015: Algeria striker El Arbi Hilal Soudani says his tiff with Christian Gourcuff has been resolved
Algeria striker El Arbi Hilal Soudani claims he is resolved his dispute with head coach Christian Gourcuff and ready to help Les Fennecs account for Ghana in their Group C match.
Yesterday, there were reports that the Dinamo Zagreb player has fallen out with the Frenchman and had been banished from the team.
Soudani was said to have been furious with Gourcuff to make him a bench player during his tenure.
Although the player and the Algerian Football Federation were quick to discard the controversy, Soudani is not certain to start against Ghana.
"We are ready, it will not be easy. They lost their first game, they will do everything to win this game," Soudani said.
"This is not the defence that was not good, it's the whole team. So we worked on the defensive aspect.
"It's about my situation changed with Gourcuff. He has his game system, I do not want to go there.
"For the position I can go, as you know me I like to play left not a second striker but hey it's the choice of the coach."
