Aduana Stars chief executive Albert Commey has hit back at Godwin Attram over his criticism of the club in their 1-1 stalemate against Great Olympics.

Attram, the captain of the Wonder Club was angered by a late decision awarded by referee Ernest Baafi against his side as the two teams shared the spoils at the Agyemang-Badu Park last Sunday.

The former Ghana international launched a scathing attack on the referee and questioned the current position of the Dorma-based side in a no-hold-barred onslaught this week.

But Aduana chief Albert Commey has parried the criticism and urged the Olympics captain to focus on their relegation battle.

“The skipper for Gt. Olympics was very critical of the position of the Dormaa boys stating they don’t deserve,” he told Metro fm.

“If we talk about referees, then Olympics should check their recent matches and how referees have been assisting them.

“That player (Attram) talks too much, if he is telling us (Aduana Stars), we don’t deserve the second position on the league log, then does he deserves to play for Olympics. How many minutes does he play and I don’t think he is any extra ordinary player. What does he know about football?

He added: “They (Gt. Olympics) sat at home to see us beat them in the first round, with even the referee on their side. Why should the player (Attram) go ahead and pass a comment that the referee aided us. Was he the one who scored the goal, we even scored a perfect goal but was disallowed by the referee.”
