Aduana who are currently second on the league table with 25 points, 4 points behind league leaders Ashgold have put in one of their best starts to a league season, an action that saw them beat defending league champions Asante Kotoko on match day 1.

Though they lost to Liberty Professionals in the match week 15 of the First Capital Plus League, Akuoku insisted that the team still has its target intact and will be looking to improve on their away performances so as to get more points in the second round.

“In the second round the matches will be tougher than what we witnessed in the first because of many factors. Some will be fighting relegation whilst others will also be fighting to play in the top four. These and many more will make it very difficult in both home and away matches.”

“But we have our eyes still fixed on the trophy and we will look to close the gap on Ashgold with some away wins during the second round.”
