AC Milan boss Fillipo Inzaghi has left Sulley Muntari out of the team that will face Sassuolo tonight in the Italian Cup match.
Reason’s for Muntari’s exclusion has been directly linked to his violent reaction to his substitution in the draw with Torino over the weekend.
Milan have not reported of an injury to the 30-year-old despite his conspicuous absence in the past two training sessions.
His absence is thus being interpreted as punishment for his violent reaction to being subbed in the Serie-A game against Torino.
The former Inter Milan man furiously threw away a Milan short as he sat on the bench having been replaced by Andrea Poli.
Several football fans – especially staunch supporters of the Rossoneri – have called for stiff punishment for the Ghanaian who has a tall record of unruly behaviour in his professional career.

Manager Fillipo Inzaghi is reportedly unhappy with the behaviour of the Ghanaian and has now decided to leave him out of the team for Tuesday’s game against Sassuolo with no injuries recorded of the midfielder.
