Saad returned to training this week and looks set for his first engagement ahead of the resumption of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

After a successful surgery in December which has healed, the starlet will be in action soon and he sounds optimistic of playing again.

“Hopefully [I’ll be ready] for the first game after the mid-season break,” he said recently to Lodgexpress official website during an interview session.

“I’m actually out here doing rehab with my physiotherapist, today I trained fully with the rest of the lads, I’m back training tomorrow. I’m back on the pitch, all is going pretty well.”

Saad will be an available option come Sunday when the Savannah Scorpions will travel to Plateau in their match ten fixture.
