Abia Warriors forward, Sunday Megwo has declared the team's readiness for their President Federation Cup Round of 32 match against Sporting Supreme. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Pride of Abia are set to face Sporting Supreme at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Wednesday.
Megwo expressed confidence in his team's prospects, saying, "We are prepared because after our match against Rivers United, we’ve been training, no rest at all. We even had to train on Sunday," he told the club’s media.
"Now we came here into Edo state on Monday, we still trained, so, I will say we are prepared for the match."
Last season, Abia Warriors failed to qualify for the President Federation Cup, having been knocked out by amateur club Ahudiya FC in the preliminary rounds.
