The Amputee national team of Morocco on Saturday night defeated Nigeria Amputee national team in the semi final of the Amputee African Cup of Nations going on in Egypt, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Morocco defeated Nigeria 6-2 at the Katameya Club, Cairo for a final match against Ghana who defeated Algeria in the second semi final match.

Mohammad Garima and Michael Jewell scored for Nigeria to reduce the 6-goal margin initiated by Moshen Shaghag's hattrick, Elias Subai, Muhammad Aharshi and Yasin Obahu for Morocco.

The loss ends the Special Eagles dream of a final place even though their finish in this year's edition already qualified them for the World Cup.

Nigeria will play Algeria in the third place match on Monday at the Katameya Club, Cairo Stadium.
