Armenian-based midfielder Lubambo Musonda has joined the Zambia Under-20 team at the 2015 African Youth Championship in Senegal.
Zambia team delegation leader Jeff Chipilingu told AfricanFootball.com in an interview from Dakar that Lubambo of Armenian club Ulisses FC arrived in Senegal early Monday morning.
Lubambo will play at the African Youth Championship just two months after making his Africa Cup debut with the senior team in Equatorial Guinea where he played two games.
"He arrived at five in the morning while the team arrived here early Sunday morning," Chipilingu said.
"So far, so good and the team is preparing for their first training session this afternoon and are looking forward to the tournament.
"The team will play a friendly against Senegal late on Tuesday afternoon."
Zambia are in Group B with Ghana, South Africa and Mali at the Senegal tournament that will run from March 8-22.
Hector Chilombo's sides kicks off its Group B campaign on March 9 against Mali.
