A former Sports Minister O.B Amoah says government’s failure to release the full Dzamefe Commission report will deny indicted persons the opportunity to build a strong case to exonerate themselves at a Court of Appeal.

Personalities indicted in the White paper released by government last week have three months to contest the government accusations against them.

But according to the correct legal procedure, implicated persons would require the full report of the commission and the White paper to appeal against the ruling.

Mr. Amoah in an interview with Starr Sports admitted that the absence of the full commission's report will rob indicted personalities of full documents needed to build a case in court.

"The White paper is indicting certain personalities and am sure such persons have their own legal persons that they consult, obviously they will also be looking for the full report so that they can make a meaningful appreciation of why they have been indicted with the white report.

“If they are aggrieved, the constitution gives them the mandate to go to the Court of Appeal because these are findings of a high court so they can go to the appeals court to clear their names.

“If they do not go to a court of appeals, then it means they've been indicted by the commission through the white paper and that could make them face the sanctions written in the constitution."
